Frequently Asked Questions
What states do you have therapists in?
We have therapists in each of the 6 New England states and a few have licensed in states outside of New England as well. We definitely have you covered if you live in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island!
Do you offer telehealth or in person sessions?
We have both offerings but it depends on the particular provider you choose. Some are telehealth only but anyone who has an in person offering also offers telehealth.
The matching service is awesome? Is it free?
Yes! Our matching service for clients is free and will always be free. We know how difficult a therapy search is and we are working hard to make sure we see you through until you’re face to face with a provider.
How does the alliance work for therapists?
We operate as a co-op. Every therapist who wishes to participate in the alliance is granted a host of benefits, peer support, business development coaching, and client referrals in exchange for a flat monthly membership fee.
How do referring providers get in touch?
We have an entire page for referral partners with all the options for getting people connected with us. You can learn more here.
What does therapy cost?
This varies, depending on the provider. We are growing to offer a collective of providers that meet a variety of insurance, private pay, and sliding scale needs for therapy seekers.
Why don’t many therapists take insurance?
This is complex. You can read all about it here as well as gain understanding about how this choice impacts you so that you can make an informed choice about your mental health care.
