Alyssa works with individuals who are seeking freedom, peace, and healing from trauma, low self-worth, anxiety, and depression. She frequently works with individuals who have experienced religious harm, or who are wanting to incorporate spirituality of any kind into their therapy work. She believes that change happens as we deepen our relationships with and understanding of ourselves. Alyssa works together with clients to create space for this to happen in sessions, not as an “expert,” but rather as a “co-journeyer,” in a way that seeks to ensure that clients feel safe and understood in their work in therapy.
